Decide · Clarity

From 90 minutes to a robust next step

The Clarity Audit creates clarity on options, criteria, risks and Ownership, so an open question becomes a robust decision frame.

No lengthy Discovery, no consulting fog. We sort the decision backlog, name the first gate and show what truly needs to be clarified now.

Problem focus

When decisions stall, what is usually missing is not information

What is missing is a robust frame

Many numbers, many perspectives, many meetings. But no clean option space, no documented kill criteria and no next gate with a clear Owner.

Typical situation

  • Options stay fuzzy and are renegotiated again and again
  • Criteria and kill criteria are not documented
  • No one visibly owns the next step
  • The decision backlog already costs tangible time, money or authority

What changes after the session

  • The option space becomes jointly visible
  • Criteria, risks and goal conflicts are prioritized
  • An Owner and the next gate date are named
  • You receive a robust recommendation for the follow-on step
Scope of work

90 minutes, remote, with clear output

Compact in format, serious in result

The Clarity Audit consists of three focused blocks and leads quickly to a robust first structure. The format is free of charge and serves to frame the decision backlog cleanly, name visible levers and build concrete artefacts.

Technical topics such as data platform, visualization or AI can be part of the context. The focus of the session, however, is on decision logic, options, criteria, Ownership and an initial gate logic.

Value and outcomes

Immediately usable internally

Testable, prioritized, named

You leave the session not with good thoughts, but with a foundation you can defend and carry forward internally.

  • One-page Decision Brief

The decision in compressed form, with context, options, criteria and next step. A shared reference for team and board.

  • Cost of Delay range

A robust bounding of the delay cost as a prioritization anchor. No false precision, but a clear economic framing.

  • Risk register

The most important risks with an initial kill or escalation logic. It becomes visible when to continue, stop or escalate.

  • Ownership and gate date

The next step has an Owner, a date and a clear function. That keeps the decision from staying vague.

  • Recommendation for the follow-on step

A clear assessment of whether a 9-day Blueprint makes sense, or whether the situation is already cleanly framed by the Audit.

Does this picture match your situation? Then we will jointly assess whether a Clarity Audit is the right entry point.

Methods

Tools of the session

Compact, practiced, transferable

We do not put on a methods show. We use only what creates real clarity in 90 minutes and can later be reused internally.

  • Morphological option space
  • Inversion
  • Kill criteria
  • Decision Briefing
  • Gate Definition
  • Ownership Definition
  • Guiding questions interview
  • Context mapping
Audience and prerequisites

Who the Clarity Audit is for

And what it takes

The Audit fits when decision pressure is real and a mandate is in place.

For you if

  • You carry responsibility for a strategic decision with real leverage
  • You need clarity before more rounds, reports or discussions build up
  • The Cost of Delay is tangible, often in the order of CHF or EUR 200,000 per month and more
  • Typical contexts are Banking, Industry, Transport and other environments with high alignment pressure

What a strong session needs

  • The starting question can be named, even if it is still fuzzy
  • Mandate, relevant stakeholders and target picture are known in principle
  • There is willingness to name options and trade-offs openly
  • The goal is not endless moderation, but an internally viable next step

Ready for the session? We will assess without obligation whether the frame fits your situation — and, if it is a fit, reserve a slot.

Request a Clarity Audit

The first step is a joint conversation to frame the situation. Collaboration usually starts with a Clarity Audit — or, if you prefer, with clarifying the overall frame.
